1. Who we are

Trusted Play Guide (trustedplayguideuk.com) is an independent comparison website for online casinos licensed in Great Britain. For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, the operator of this website is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. 2. The data we collect

We collect far less than most websites, because we do not run accounts. Specifically:

• Electronic identification data — your IP address, device type, operating system, browser, screen size, language, approximate location derived from your IP address, the page you arrived from and the time of your visit.
• Interaction data — which pages you viewed, which comparison links you clicked and whether an operator later reported a sign-up attributable to that click. This is shared with us in aggregated or pseudonymised form.
• Correspondence — your email address and the content of your message if you contact us.

We do not collect payment details, identity documents or gambling account data.

The site is served over HTTPS and access to analytics and affiliate reporting is restricted to the people who need it. Server and security logs are kept for up to 12 months; aggregated analytics for up to 26 months; email correspondence for as long as needed to resolve your query and for a reasonable period afterwards. We do not keep data longer than the purpose requires.

7. Who we share data with

We share data only with:

• hosting, security and anti-abuse providers who process it on our behalf;
• analytics providers such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity;
• advertising platforms such as Google Ads and Meta, for campaign measurement;
• affiliate networks and casino operators, limited to what is needed to attribute a referral;
